In Oregon, as of April 2026, 23 therapists are specialized in addressing domestic abuse. Among these, 16 offer telehealth options, which can provide a safe and accessible means of therapy for individuals in various parts of Oregon. Eight therapists accept the Oregon Health Plan (OHP), making therapy more accessible to those with Medicaid coverage. Furthermore, 11 therapists offer sliding scale fees, which can help individuals with financial constraints access therapy. The majority, 20 therapists, are currently accepting new clients. Evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) are commonly used to support survivors of domestic abuse.
