As of April 2026, a specialized group of 3 dementia therapists is listed on Oregon Counselor Directory, serving the unique needs of those affected by dementia in Oregon. All 3 of these providers offer telehealth sessions, ensuring accessible care for individuals across the state, including those in remote areas. Unfortunately, none of the dementia therapists currently accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP). However, 1 therapist offers sliding scale fees, which can be beneficial for clients with financial constraints. In-person sessions are also available with all 3 therapists. Of these, 2 are currently accepting new clients, providing hope for timely access to specialized care.
